 If yes, you have a camera connected to your windshield. This camera is part of your vehicle’s advanced safety systems. These systems are called ADAS systems. All vehicle manufactures require the Advance Driver Safety System be recalibrated when the windshield is changed.

Is it necessary to have the camera recalibrated after a windshield replacement?

Yes. Most vehicles that are equipped with the ADAS system(camera) will need to be recalibrated after replacement of windshield. Glassworks of Wisconsin has the capabilities to replace your windshield and do the camera calibration at the same appointment. Most domestic vehicle calibration can be done at your location. While foreign vehicles would need to come in to one of our two shop; Edgerton or Madison.
